While this isn't for everybody, I think this is a great idea. a member of the Kel-Tec Owner's Group described in great detail how to recoat your pistol's slide. This is a problem for those of us that CCW with skin contact or in humid areas - even stainless steel will rust in the South. I've done something similar with excellent results, and if you know what you are doing, this isn't a bad idea.
